The Mother Maryam Foundation Wheelchair Project

The Mother Maryam Foundation participated with Rotary Wheelchair Foundation to deliver 281 wheelchairs to needy disabled people in Sudan. In July 2007, Cheshire Homes and the Rotary Club of Khartoum began distributing sturdy and serviceable wheelchairs to disabled people in different parts of Sudan. The recipients ranged from age 4 to age 82. The 281 wheelchairs have been distributed. But there is still a waiting list of 800 people needing wheelchairs. We are working toward sending more wheelchairs to Sudan. We appreciate your support.
